Since 1924 Benes Marine Technology is a significant partner in shipbuilding and industrial projects, focused on heavy machine works and large constructions. It all started in 1924 as Mr. Jan Benes, together with his son Jo, opened a smithery to produce all kind of constructions for the many nearby shipyards.
The work changed not that much but the know-how increased awesome. The company name changed also not that much; starting as Benes Smederij (Smithery), then called “Benes Roer- en Stevenbouw”, later as “Benes Machinefabriek” (Machinefactory) and now, as a worldwide player, we’re known as “Benes Marine Technology”.
